wonderful creamy cole slaw

This recipe I found years ago and every time we have a gathering I am asked to bring this slaw. When leaving there is never any left or people what to keep some. Truth.....

Ingredients For wonderful creamy cole slaw

  • 8 c
    finely chopped cabbage or bagged slaw with carrots
  • 1/4 c
    carrots shredded if not using bags
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    white vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • i always double this recipe when we have gathering.

How To Make wonderful creamy cole slaw

    Combine the sugar, salt pepper, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon juice Beat together until smooth. Add slaw, Mix well Cover and refrigerate up to 12. serve cold.
