ok i think this is what my mom use to make for me when i was a kid. it taste just like it. thanks to everyone whom tried to help me find this recipe.

Ingredients For warm krautsalat

2heads of white cabbage. core and remove outer leaves and wash heads

1/4 cwhite vinegar
-
3 Tbspwhite sugar

2 Tbspoil(light)

1 lgonion

1/8 tspsalt and pepper

1 tsplemon juice(fresh)
How To Make warm krautsalat

1The cabbage into quarters and rub on a small grater. grate as for cole slaw using large grate side.

2chop onion completely in pinky nail size pieces.

3in large sauce pot warm oil. vinegar and sugar. toss in cabbage and onion add lemon juice and salt and pepper. cook for 10 min on med heat

4till cabbage is tender. remove from heat serve warm.
