Many regions in the world have their own dishes such as salads, soups, etc. Many times the main ingredients are the same but for say a salad, the dressing is different. This salad is Japanese in origin. And it is good.

Ingredients For tomato & onion salad

500 gcherry tomatoes, halved

1/2small onion, thinly sliced, think mandolin

1/2-1green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 Tbspolive oil
-
1 1/2 Tbspsoy sauce

1 1/2 Tbsprice vinegar

6shiso leaves chopped, or basil or coriander
How To Make tomato & onion salad

1In a large mixing bowl, mix together the oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.

2Prep the tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper, and add to the mixing bowl.

3Toss with the dressing. Sprinkle on the shiso or basil or coriander, serve.
