Ingredients For texas slaw

1/2 csugar

1/2 cdistilled white vinegar

1/4 cvegetable oil

8 cgreen cabbage, coarsely shredded (about 1/2 large head)

1 cred bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cgreen bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 mdonion, thinly sliced

1carrot, coarsely shredded
How To Make texas slaw

1Whisk sugar, vinegar, and oil to blend in large bowl.

2Add remaining ingredients and toss to combine.

3Season to taste with salt and pepper.

4Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours, tossing occasionally. (Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.)
