Love this slaw. If you wish to make it ahead of time keep vegetables, dressing and cheese apart. Your veg will weep a fair amount of fluid, so drain first, then add the dressing and cheese.

Ingredients For texas coleslaw

1 pkg16 oz cole slaw mix

1 can7 oz can mexican style corn, drained

2jalapenos, seeded and minced
-
1/4 cchopped cilantro (or parsley if you hate cilantro)

1/2 cyellow bell pepper, chopped
-
1 cranch salad dressing
-
1/2 tspcumin
-
1/2 tspgranulated garlic powder
-
1juice of 1 lime
-
1/2 tspfresh lime zest
-
1 cgrated cheddar cheese
How To Make texas coleslaw

1In a large bowl, toss together the coleslaw mix, corn, bell pepper, jalapeno and cilantro.

2In a separate bowl, stir together the Ranch-style dressing, cumin, garlic powder, lime juice and lime zest.

3Pour dressing over slaw mixture and toss to coat.

4Add Cheese and toss well.

5Serve.
