Ingredients For tangy mixed vegetable salad

  • 2 c
    cabbage, shredded
  • 1 c
    carrot, shredded
  • 1 c
    celery slices
  • 1/2 c
    canned or cooked frozen corn, drained
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped green or red pepper
  • tangy dressing (see below)
  • TANGY DRESSING
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    water

How To Make tangy mixed vegetable salad

    Dressing - Mix or shake dressing ingredients together to dissolve sugar and blend ingredients thoroughly.

    Combine salad ingredients and toss with Tangy Dressing. Chill 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
