What's better that fresh summer tomatoes and herbs? Not much! I can easily eat a whole tomato myself; it's easy to increase everything for more servings. I like to add the vinegar and oil right after I slice the tomato so it can absorb their flavor!

Ingredients For summer tomato & basil salad

1 mdtomato, cored and sliced

2fresh basil leaves

1green onion (spring onion)

1 Tbspseasoned vinegar (i use salata brand)

1/2 tspolive oil (i used lemon infused, plain is ok, too)

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make summer tomato & basil salad

1Arrange tomato slices on a plate. Add vinegar and olive oil.

2Slice spring onion thinly and sprinkle over tomatoes.

3Slice the basil thinly (chiffonade) and distribute that over the tomato.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.
