a recipe I had on another cookbook website...I get tired of the same old coleslaw, so here is another option.

Ingredients For spicy slaw

1 lbcabbage, cut into shreds

1/4red onion, cut into long slivers

1/2red bell pepper, cut into thin strips

2 Tbspchopped cilantro

2 Tbspsugar

1/4 colive oil, extra virgin

2 Tbspchampagne vinegar
-
1 Tbsplime juice
-
1/2 tspred chile flakes

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 tspkosher salt
How To Make spicy slaw

1At home: toss vegetables in a large bowl to blend. Transfer to a ziplock bag. Put remaining ingredients in small container with tight fitting lid. Chill slaw and dressing up to 2 days.

2At Camp: toss slaw and dressing in large bowl and serve.
