sarah's pea salad

The original recipe came from a neighbor up our street. I liked it so much I made it up in Wisconsin one summer--yet I added cheddar and forgot the tomato! Any way you choose to make this great salad, it will be enjoyable!

Ingredients For sarah's pea salad

  • 16 oz
    frozen peas
  • 1
    tomato, diced
  • 1/2 jar
    bacon bits
  • 1 jar
    hellman's mayo
  • 4
    hard boiled eggs, diced
  • shredded cheddar (optional)

How To Make sarah's pea salad

    In a colander with increasingly warm water, thaw the peas. Throw into a bowl with the tomato and egg. Add just enough mayo to coat, and bacon bits. More can be added of any ingredient if desired.
