Ingredients For salad-e shirazi

3 lgfirm tomatoes

2english or persian cucumbers

1 mdvidalia or red onion

2 Tbsplemon or lime juice, freshly squeezed

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 Tbspfresh mint

1 tspfresh garlic, minced

kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
How To Make salad-e shirazi

1Dice all vegetable into a small dice. Place into a bowl and add lemon or lime juice, olive oil, fresh herbs and salt and pepper. Toss gently and serve.

2This is a staple in Persian household. I have a friend that hates cucumbers that will eat Sharzi. I sometimes leave the olive oil out and just use the freshly squeezed juice to dress the vegetable.
