Ingredients For russian cole slaw

5 cfinely shredded cabbage

2 mdapples

1 smcarrot
-
1 tspminced onion
-
1 tspminced dill or parsley

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1 tspsugar

1/2 csour cream
How To Make russian cole slaw

1Sprinkle the shredded cabbage with salt and let stand 15 minutes, then scald for 3 minutes. Drain well and dry in a towel.

2Chop the apples very fine or grate them on a coarse grater. Grate the carrot.

3Mix all the ingredients together and let stand 30 minutes on ice (or in refrigerator) before serving.
