This salad may not sound like the most appetizing when you see the ingredients, but trust me, one bite and you will love it!

Ingredients For pineapple salad

  • STEP ONE
  • 1 can
    pineapple, crushed (15 ounces)
  • 1 sm
    fresh lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water, hot
  • STEP TWO
  • 2 pkg
    knox geletain
  • 1/4 c
    water, cold
  • STEP THREE
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 8 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping, thawed

How To Make pineapple salad

  • 1
    Add ingredients from Step One together in sauce pan. Bring slowly to a boil for five minutes.

    Meanwhile, add ingredients from Step Two together in a separate bowl. Let set until firm, then add to saucepan and stir in until dissolved.

    Set pineapple mixture into refrigerator to cool until set.
  • 4
    Add thickened pineapple mixture to the ingredients from Step Three in a separate bowl and mix well.
