This is a great dish to bring when you go to a potluck lunch, not the usual side dish. Easy, inexpensive and tastes good.

Ingredients For pea and bacon salad

  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chopped parsley
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 20 oz
    frozen peas
  • 8 slice
    cooked bacon - crumbled; or 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 c
    green onions, finely chopped

How To Make pea and bacon salad

  • 1
    Run frozen peas under warm water until defrosted. Drain well.
  • 2
    Combine peas, bacon and conions and chill while making dressing.

    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream and parsley until well blended.
  • 4
    Toss dressing lightly with pea and bacon mixtue. Salt and pepper to taste.
