I made this recipe for my husbands retirement party. It was a hit especially with my son who is a very picky eater. He called it awesome.

Ingredients For pasta cole slaw

  • 8 oz
    favorite ditalini pasta
  • 1
    head cabbage
  • 1 lg
    red onion
  • 1 lg
    red bell pepper
  • 1 lg
    yellow bell pepper
  • 2 lg
    carrots
  • DRESSING
  • 3 c
    miracle whip
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    each heavy cream and apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    each onion powder, caraway seed, garlic powder, paprika, salt and dill weed
  • 1 tsp
    pepper and ground fennel

How To Make pasta cole slaw

    Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain run cold water over and set aside.

    Shred the cabbage, onion, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and carrots in a food processor fitted with a grater plate.

    Combine the cole slaw and the pasta.
  • 4
    Mix all ingredients for dressing together and pour over the salad and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
