When visiting my grandmother who lived near the North Sea in Germany, I remember having lots of "Krabben" - small local shrimp in a variety of dishes. Here's an example of a local shrimp salad.

10 ozsmall shrimp, cooked, peeled, deveined

1 smred onion, minced

6-8radishes, finely chopped

1/4english cucumber, finely chopped

2 Tbspfreshly chopped dill (or 1 tb dried)

1 Tbspolive oil

1 lglemon, juice of

sea salt and pepper, to taste

lemon wedges, to serve

1In a medium bowl, toss together the shrimp, onion, radishes, cucumber and dill.

2Then add the olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and toss again.
