Ingredients For nc coleslaw

  • 1/2 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    tomato puree
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1
    cabbage head, grated

How To Make nc coleslaw

  • 1
    In a large mixing bowl, add grated cabbage.

    Combine vinegar, sugar, tomato puree, salt, and pepper into a small bowl.

    Add vinegar mixture to cabbage and toss until well-blended. (The mixture may look dry at first, but there's plenty of liquid to moisten cabbage thoroughly if you keep tossing.

    Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
