I found this recipe so many years ago in the recipe section of my home town paper and had to try it. My family, friends and even the grandchildren love this salad. I alway have to double the recipe when the gang is over. It is that good. Enjoy!

Ingredients For my spinach salad with creamy mushroom dressing

cream of mushroom salad dressing:

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1/4 ctarragon vinegar
-
1 1/2 tspsugar
-
1/4 cwater
-
1/4 tspcelery seed
-
1/4 tspmarjoram
-
1 tspdry mustard
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
dash of worcestershire sauce

salad:
-
1(10 ounce) package of washed, trimmed spinach, torn into bite-size pieces (i use baby spinach)

12strips bacon, crisp fried and crumbled or in pieces which ever you prefer.

4hard boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
-
1 mdonion, ( i prefer red onion ) sliced into rings
-
sliced mushroom (optional)
How To Make my spinach salad with creamy mushroom dressing

1For Dressing; beat ingredients together in a bowl.

2Pour into a sauce pan and heat over medium heat while stirring until mixture is smooth.

3Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

4For Salad; assemble the ingredients in layers in a large salad bowl and salt and pepper to taste.

5Pour cooled salad dressing over and toss gently.

6Goes well with any meal!
