Even the grandkids go back for seconds of this sweet and sour cold veggie salad. I have no idea where the original recipe came from; it's been a staple in my family for years.

Ingredients For mixed vegetable salad

2 10oz pkgfrozen mixed vegetables

1 cankidney beans

2 cchopped celery
-
1onion, chopped fine
-
1 1/2 csugar
-
2 Tbspflour
-
1 cwhite vinegar
How To Make mixed vegetable salad

1cook vegetables according to package directions, drain and cool

2heat sugar, flour and vinegar to a boil, remove from heat and cool

3wash kidney beans and drain
-
4mix together vegetables, beans, celery and onions
-
5pour vinegar/sugar mixture over vegetables, toss to coat and refrigerate at least one hour before serving
