This slaw is so good and easy to make. I found it in a church cookbook. My Mother is a big fan of this!

Ingredients For marinated slaw

1cabbage, shredded or buy a bag shredded

1bell pepper, chopped

1onion, chopped

3/4 cvegetable oil
-
1/2 csugar
-
1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/4 cvinegar
How To Make marinated slaw

1Shred cabbage or use bag already shredded. Add black pepper, onions and bell pepper. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons sugar and set aside. Mix other ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Then pour over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Serve when ready. This recipe will keep up to 7 days in the refrigerator. Very good!
