This slaw is great for that cook out or just about any get together. Make hamburgers and use the slaw for the vegetables on the burger yummy yummy.

Ingredients For janet's red hot cabbage slaw

1/4 cbutter

1/2 cchopped onions

8 ccoarsely shredded red caggage

1 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbspcaraway seed

1 tspsalt

1 csour cream

1/4 cvinegar

1 corange sections
- NOTE; WHEN A RECIPE CALLS FOR VINEGAR IT IS USELY WHITE UNLESS IT CALLS FOR CIDER VINEGAR
How To Make janet's red hot cabbage slaw

1Melt butter in skillet saute onion until tender.

2Stir in cabbage, lemon juice, caraway seed, and salt. Heat stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.

3Cover cook over low heat stirring occasionally for 10 minutes longer or until cabbage is tender.

4Combine sour cream and vinegar stir into cabbage.

5Add orange sections heat to serving temperature. Yield 6 servings
