Ingredients For hearts of palm salad

1 can(14 oz./398 ml) hearts of palm, rinsed, drained and sliced

4 Tbsplight sour cream

1/2 Tbspfreshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste

1/4 tspfennel seeds, ground
-
1 smpinch ground himalayan sea salt, or to taste

1 smpinch white pepper, or to taste

2 lglettuce leaves, washed and torn
How To Make hearts of palm salad

1Rinse the vegetable thoroughly in a colander, drain and then slice.

2In a bowl, add sour cream, lemon juice, ground fennel seeds, sea salt and white pepper; stir to combine.

3Divide the torn lettuce among 4 small plates and place the sliced hearts of palm on top. Lightly drizzle the dressing on top. Serves 4
