Ingredients For hearts of palm salad

  • 1 can
    (14 oz./398 ml) hearts of palm, rinsed, drained and sliced
  • 4 Tbsp
    light sour cream
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    fennel seeds, ground
  • 1 sm
    pinch ground himalayan sea salt, or to taste
  • 1 sm
    pinch white pepper, or to taste
  • 2 lg
    lettuce leaves, washed and torn

How To Make hearts of palm salad

  • 1
    Rinse the vegetable thoroughly in a colander, drain and then slice.

    In a bowl, add sour cream, lemon juice, ground fennel seeds, sea salt and white pepper; stir to combine.

    Divide the torn lettuce among 4 small plates and place the sliced hearts of palm on top. Lightly drizzle the dressing on top. Serves 4
