This is my own original version of a healthy veggie salad I created. I made this for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed it and gave out the recipe to several family members. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as we do.

Ingredients For healthy veggie slaw

2 headsbrocoli finely chopped

5baby carrots, shredded

1/4 cupfinely chopped purple onion

3/4 cupcheddar cheese, shredded

3 Tbspbacon bits
-
1/8 cupsunflower seeds

1/4 cupcraisins
- DRESSING:
-
1/4 cupmayonnaise, light

1/2 Tbspsugar
-
2 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1/4 tspsalt
-
1/8 tsppepper
How To Make healthy veggie slaw

1Mix the first seven ingredients together. Mix up the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Add to the salad. Mix gently. Refrigerate. This is better made a day in advance to allow the dressing to marinate the veggies.
