My mother used to make this recipe to get my father to eat cottage cheese as a way to get calcium. It worked not just for him but for us too. She named it "Green Cottage Cheese", and it stuck. We've had this at every family gathering since Mom first made it in 1970.

4 ozsour cream, fat-free

24 ozcottage cheese, lowfat

15 ozpineapple, crushed

8 ozwhipped topping, thawed
How To Make green cottage cheese

1Mix the first three ingredients together.

2Make sure the crushed pineapple is drained well.

3Fold in the pineapple then the whipped topping.
