This is a very fresh tasting salad and serves 12-16. Usually I make it the day before I'm serving it. Enjoy the taste!.

Ingredients For garden bean salad

  • 1 can
    16 oz cut green beans
  • 2 can
    16 oz lima beans
  • 1 can
    16 oz kidney beans
  • 1 can
    16 oz wax beans
  • 1 can
    15 oz garbanzo beans
  • 1 lg
    green pepper, chopped
  • 3
    stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 jar
    sliced pimiento
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, sliced
  • 2 c
    white vinegar
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make garden bean salad

  • 1
    Drain all cans of beans, place in a large bowl. Add green pepper, celery, pimiento and green onions; set aside.

    Bring remaining ingredients to a boil in a heavy saucepan; boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and immediately pour over vegetables. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
