Ingredients For fried okra & tomato salad

3 slicebacon, fried, drained and crumbled

16 ozbattered, fried okra
-
1/2 cgreen onion chopped
-
1 mdtomato, chopped
-
1/3 csugar
-
1/2 capple cider vinegar
-
salt and pepper to taste

oil for frying
How To Make fried okra & tomato salad

1Fry bacon in skillet until browned, remove and drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside. Fry okra in a separate skillet in about 1/2 inch of oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels and put in a large bowl. Add chopped onion and tomato to fried okra. In the skillet you fried the bacon in add the vinegar and sugar to the bacon grease heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour over Okra, tomato and onion. Toss to coat and serve!
