This is for a LARGE group of people. This recipe is for 10 pounds of cabbage. The dressing keeps for a week in the refrigerator if you don't want to use all of it at one time. Straight from the cafeteria at Hallmark Cards. Got this from my sister. Can substitute some of the cabbage with shredded carrots or purple cabbage.

Ingredients For crown room cole slaw dressing

  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced onion
  • 1/4 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 qt
    mayonnaise dressing
  • 1/2 c
    milk

How To Make crown room cole slaw dressing

  • 1
    Mix vinegar, onion, salt, sugar and celery seed. Add Mayo and milk; mix well.

    Add to shredded cabbage.

    Let rest for 2 hours before serving.
