Ingredients For cold cucumber salad

1 tspsalt

1 cwhite vinegar

1-1/2 csugar

1 tspcelery seed

1/4 cvegetable oil

5 ccucumber slices (small kirby or thin cukes work best)

1 mdsweet onion, thinly sliced

1 lgyellow bell pepper,thinly sliced
How To Make cold cucumber salad

1Bring the salt, vinegar, sugar, celery seed and veg.oil to a boil in med. saucepan. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool.

2In large bowl, toss the sliced cukes, onions and peppers with the liquid mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.or up to next day. Serve cold.
