This salad keeps well. Everyone I've served it to raves about it. I have never seen this recipe posted anywhere before and I have been making it for 35 years. It was given to em by a dear friend who got it from her niece in Texas. Thank you Mary Sue Bennett.

Ingredients For cauliflower salad

  • 4 c
    cauliflower, sliced
  • 1 c
    ripe olives, sliced or chopped
  • 2/3 c
    chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pimento
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    white vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar

How To Make cauliflower salad

  • 1
    Shake salad dressing ingredients in a tightly covered jar until well blended. Pour over salad ingredients. Toss until well coated. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.
