Ingredients For broccoli-ramen salad

  • 1 (16 oz) pkg
    broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 c
    shredded carrots (optional)
  • 1 (3 oz) pkg
    ramen noodles
  • 6
    green onions, chopped white and green parts
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 c
    almonds, slivered or chopped
  • 1/4 c
    craisins or golden raisins (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil or olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar (or 2 packets equal/ stevia)
  • 1/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How To Make broccoli-ramen salad

    Break ramen noodles, discard packet of seasoning. Mix slaw, noodles, green onions, carrots, almonds and seeds in large bowl. Add raisins, if using.

    Mix the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl and pour over slaw mixture.

    Stir together well, cover and refrigerate over night or at least 8 hours.

    NOTE: Some versions of this recipe use the seasoning packet from the ramen. I prefer not to and adjust the seasoning accordingly by adding the soy sauce.
