A wonderful change of pace for a backyard barbecue or a side for sandwiches. The poppy seed dressing brings a zing to the party!

Ingredients For broccoli and cauliflower salad

  • 1 md
    cauliflower
  • 2-3 bunch
    broccoli tops
  • 1 md
    sweet onion
  • 1 bottle
    poppyseed dressing
  • 1-2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make broccoli and cauliflower salad

    Wash cauliflower and broccoli. Cut into bite sized pieces.

    Cut onion into bite sized pieces. We like onion a lot so I leave my pieces a bit larger. Red onion also adds some nice color to the dish.

    Put vegetables into a large bowl and add cheese. I usually add about 2 cups, more or less to your taste.

    Pour on the dressing. It should take nearly all of a 16 ounce bottle. Toss and serve immediately. If not serving immediately, wait till just before serving to add the cheese.
