bonnie's tri-bean salad
This salad is delicious and very easy on the waistline. It would be great for barbecues and potlucks. You can make it in five minutes! We buy the tri-blend beans by the case from Kroger because they are so good and good for you. I always have two cans chilling in the fridge to make this salad. Enjoy my humble recipe!

Ingredients For bonnie's tri-bean salad

2 15 ounce cans of tri-bean blend beans, simple truth brand

1 large white onion diced fine

3 tablespoons malt vinegar

2 tablespoons grape seed oil

salt and pepper to taste

options: anaheim, red bell, or banana peppers, ½ cup diced fine
How To Make bonnie's tri-bean salad

1Cook's Note: Make the salad as written the first time, then adjust to suit your own taste. The Malt Vinegar and Grape seed oil combination makes a great dressing.

2Drain the beans very well. Put them in a container that has a tight lid.

3Then add the diced onion.

4Add the Malt Vinegar and the Grape seed oil.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6Gently mix the ingredients, and put the lid on the container and chill for at least 4 hours. You can eat this salad right away, if you are short on time, but it is better to let the ingredients get acquainted with each other for a few hours. Enjoy!

7Cook's Note: A word about the Tri-Bean Blend. Ingredients: It is a blend of certified organic kidney beans, organic pinto beans, and organic black beans from Simple Truth, (Kroger) and seasoned with sea salt.
