Ingredients For asian coleslaw

  • 16 oz
    package of coleslaw mix with carrots
  • 4
    green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 oz
    packageof chicken ramen noodles, broken up (save seasoning)
  • 1/2 c
    slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 3 Tbsp
    parsley, chopped
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/3 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 pkg
    noodle seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    seasame oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    grated fresh ginger

How To Make asian coleslaw

    One hour before serving: Combine coleslaw mix, green onions, noodles, almonds, and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Cover and chill until serving time.

    Dressing: In a screw-top jar, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper and seasoning package. Cover and shake. Chill until serving time.

    When ready to serve: Shake jar of dressing. Then pour over the slaw mixture. Toss to coat. Makes 12 side dish servings.
