I think you will really like this salad. This is a christmas salad for sure. It takes awile to make this but it is well worth the wait.

Ingredients For pretzel salad

  • 1 c
    pretzels, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 lg
    box strawberry gelatin
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 c
    boiled water
  • 16 oz
    frozen strawberries

How To Make pretzel salad

    Melt butter, mix with pretzels, sugar,and pecans. Pat into bottom of 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

    Beat cream cheese,whipped topping and powdered sugar. Spread on top of pretzel mixture. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries. Stir until gelatin begins to thicken. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Cover with whipped topping if desired,
