This recipe was shared with me but a lovely lady from my church, Maxine Manning. It is delicious.

Ingredients For maxine's cranberry delight

  • 2 c
    cranberries, fresh
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    (3 oz size) cherry jell-o
  • 2 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 c
    halved grapes
  • 1 c
    diced apples
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans (or nuts of your choice)

How To Make maxine's cranberry delight

  • 1
    Boil cranberries and sugar in 1 cup water until cranberries pop. Remove from heat.

    Dissolve Jell-O in cranberry mixture.
  • 3
    Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
  • 4
    Place mixture (in pan) in ice water until it thickens.
  • 5
    Add grapes, apples and nuts. Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate until set.
