This dressing is totally addictive. There are only a few ingredients, and it’s easy/peasy to make. And the good new is, you probably have all the stuff you need just sitting in your pantry. If you’ve never used baked garlic before in a dressing, you’ll love how it creates a deep mellow taste, so much different than using raw garlic. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For yummy honey & baked garlic balsamic dressing

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard, i prefer grey poupon
  • 4 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 2 clove
    garlic, baked, and mashed
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste

How To Make yummy honey & baked garlic balsamic dressing

    PREP/PREPARE

    Gather your ingredients.

    Chef's Note: I used a balsamic vinegar infused with blueberries... A marriage made in heaven.

    Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 325f (165c).
  • 5
    Place the garlic on a piece of parchment paper, and drizzle a bit olive oil on top.

    Pull the parchment paper together, and twist together at the top.

    Place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

    Remove from the oven and allow the garlic to cool.

    Sprinkle with a bit of salt, and then mash with the flat side of a kitchen, or santoku knife.

    Add the honey, vinegar, garlic, and mustard to a medium bowl.

    Whisk to combine the ingredients.

    Slowly add the olive oil, and continue to whisk until all the oil has been added, and it forms an emulsion.

    Season with a bit of salt and pepper, to taste.

    This is an excellent dressing for a nice bed of salad greens. Enjoy.
