Ingredients For spinach salad

  • 6 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    seasoned rice vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy
  • TOPPING
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1 pkg
    ramen noodles (discard soup flavoring packet)
  • 1/4 c
    sesame seeds
  • 1 pkg
    slivered almonds about 1/2 cup (small package)
  • SALAD
  • 1 lg
    bunch of spinach (washed, drained, dried)
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, chopped

How To Make spinach salad

  • 1
    Whisk dressing ingredients to blend. Season with pepper. Set aside. Can be made ahead. Heat butter over medium heat. Break noodles in small pieces and brown along with sesame seeds and almonds. Cool and drain on paper towels. Set aside. Can make ahead. Store in airtight container.

    When ready to serve - add spinach, green onions, noodles, nuts and sesame seeds to same bowl. Toss with enough dressing to coat.
