My Aunt used to make this at Easter and it is a family favorite. The dressing is what makes it great, sweet & tangy!

Ingredients For spinach salad

  • 9oz. bag slice
    fresh spinach
  • 1 can
    sliced waterchestnuts
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/2 lb
    sliced mushrooms
  • 2
    hard bpoiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 c
    canola oil
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/8 c
    vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely diced

How To Make spinach salad

  • 1
    Place fresh spinach in large bowl with mushrooms & bacon. Top salad with eggs. Mix oil and next 5 ingredients for dressing. Toss with dressing before serving or let individuals dress themselves.
