I had left-over steak (T-bone too big for two of us to finish)! So threw this together based on my memory of a great "black and blue" salad at a local restaurant!

Ingredients For speedy steak salad

5 ozmedium rare steak, sliced thinly

garlic salt

4 ciceberg lettuce, torn into pieces

1/4 csweet onion, chopped

2 lgmushrooms, sliced (baby bella or button)

2 Tbspblue cheese crumbles

1/2avocado, diced
-
2 Tbspbalsamic vinegarette dressing

garlic croutons (optional)
How To Make speedy steak salad

1Warm steak briefly in a hot cast iron pan. Sprinkle with garlic salt.

2In two large salad bowls, place 1/2 of all the other ingredients

3If not using croutons, serve with toasted garlic bread.
