Ingredients For spanish red leaf salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette

  • SALAD
  • 6 c
    red leaf lettuce, torn into small pieces (packed cups)
  • 2 c
    romain lettuce, torn into small pieces (packed cups)
  • 2 lg
    oranges, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c
    red onion, sliced thinly
  • 1/3 c
    olives (whatever variety you prefer, make sure they're pitted)
  • 1/2-3/4 c
    balsamic vinaigrette (store bought brand or make following directions below)
  • DRESSING
  • 1/4 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/8 c
    honey
  • 1 pinch
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make spanish red leaf salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette

    FOR SALAD: Toss all ingredients together, dress with balsamic vinaigrette

    FOR DRESSING: Put all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake until well combined. Taste, adjust seasoning.
