This salad is very simple to put together, but the taste is so much more than simple. I have been making this salad for a few years now and when I have leftovers, my family members fight for them. Increase or decrease the ingredients per your own taste buds, but I am sure that this simple salad will be enjoyed no matter what.

Ingredients For puttin' on the ritz salad

  • 1 bunch
    organic green leafy lettuce
  • 1 md
    organic carrot, thinly sliced
  • 5 slice
    mesquite turkey breast, thin sliced
  • 1/2 c
    grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 c
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 3-5 Tbsp
    ranch or caesar dressing
  • 1/2 pkg
    ritz crackers, crushed
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make puttin' on the ritz salad

  • 1
    Wash, dry and then tear up the lettuce into bite sized pieces. Place in the refrigerator until ready to put the salad together. Doing this step will create a crispy texture in the lettuce.

    In a bowl large enough to hold all of these ingredients, add the lettuce, carrot, chopped up turkey meat, tomatoes, onion and dressing. Mix well so that every ingredient has been lightly coated with the dressing.

    Top with the crushed crackers, using more or less per your own tastes. Make sure to season as you want with salt and pepper.
