This is one of our favorite salads ... good because you can make ahead of time, travels well ... always a favorite of everyone at cookouts! This is a easy salad to make only half for 2-3 people.

Ingredients For layered salad

1head lettuce or pkg. of shredded iceburg or any lettuce mix you like
-
1finely chopped green or red or orange pepper
-
1 smfinely chopped sweet onion
-
1 pkgfrozen green peas
-
6-8 slicecrisp fried bacon (crumbled) or pkg'd cooked crumbled bacon
-
4hard boiled eggd, chopped fine
-
1 1/2 ccheese, shredded (i use colby-monteray jack)
- DRESSING
-
1 cmiracle whip
-
1 csour cream
-
1/4 csugar -or- 2 tbs splenda
How To Make layered salad

1Layer thru peas ... spread dressing on top

2layer rest of ingredients ...

3cover with lid or wrap,refrigerate 2-24 hours.

4Don't mix ... just scoop out your servings.
