Ingredients For el gaucho salad

  • 1
    head iceberg lettuce, washed and seperated
  • 2 md
    tomatoes, cut into segments
  • 2 md
    avocados
  • 1/2 c
    green olives, without seed
  • 1/3 c
    vinegar from the olives
  • 1/3 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 c
    manchego cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground oregano, dried

How To Make el gaucho salad

  • 1
    Put the olive oil, vinegar, salt, and oregano in deep bowl. Mix well.
  • 2
    Cut the avocados in half and and then into medium pieces. Add the avocado to the vinaigrette and mix.
  • 3
    Rip lettuce into bite-size pieces and put into large bowl.
  • 4
    Add the tomatoes, olives, and vinegar with avocado to the bowl.
  • 5
    Mix the ingredients together so that all is covered with vinaigrette
  • 6
    Add cheese to the top of the salad and serve.
