crunchy chopped salad
This salad is fast to prepare or may be prepped ahead of time and quickly tossed together just before serving. My family also loves to eat the leftover salad the next day, which is why I always make a double batch.

- DRESSING INGREDIENTS

1/2 ccanola oil

1/4 csugar

2 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
- SALAD INGREDIENTS

1 lglettuce head, thinly sliced & cut croswise

8 slicebacon, cooked crisp & chopped

1/3 csliced almonds, toasted

1/4 csunflower seeds, toasted

6green onions, sliced

3/4 cchow mein noodles
How To Make crunchy chopped salad

1In a jar with a tight fitting lid combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Shake well, making sure the sugar is dissolved.

2Combine lettuce, bacon, almonds, sunflower seeds and onion in a large bowl.

3Shake the dressing before adding to the salad and toss well.

4Top with chow mein noodles.
