This dish is easy to make and the flavors are perfect together! There's a tasty salad that is healthy and delicious!

Ingredients For bacon wedge salad

  • 1/2 lg
    iceberg lettuce, core removed and halved
  • 12 lg
    cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 c
    per serving of blue cheese dressing, or more to taste
  • 10 slice
    per serving red onions (lyonnaise cut)
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    blue cheese, grated
  • cayenne or freshly ground black pepper, to taste (i always use mixed peppercorns)

How To Make bacon wedge salad

  • 1
    Cut half of a lettuce and remove the core. Place each half on a plate.
  • 2
    Add about 6 cherry tomato halves per plate. Scoop some blue cheese dressing on top before adding some sliced onion. Sprinkle cooked bacon bits on top. Grate more blue cheese over the wedges and if desired, sprinkle on some cayenne or freshly ground black pepper.
