This is an old recipe that seems to appear in every church cookbook I have ever seen. My Mom loved it and I am posting it here for her cookbook. This recipe is supposed to have originated at the Watergate hotel in Washington, DC.

Ingredients For watergate salad, mom's version

1 cminiature marshmallows

1 can(16 ounces) undrained, crushed pineapple, canned in own juice

1 cpecans, in pieces

1 smbox pistachio pudding

1(9 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
How To Make watergate salad, mom's version

1Mix all ingedients together and pour into a serving bowl. Refrigerate several hours before serving. You may like to put more whipped topping on this just before serving.
