I like this recipe because it dresses up tuna salad with apples,raisins,dates and walnuts..then coats it all with a tangy dressing. 340 calories in 3/4 cup. You could use cooked cubed chicken or canned chicken.

Ingredients For waldorf tuna salad

  • 2 can
    (6oz ea.) light water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 lg
    red apple-chopped
  • 1/3 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/3 c
    chopped dates
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    fat free plain yogart
  • 1/4 c
    reduced fat mayonnaise or miracle whip
  • EXTRAS TO PLATE WITH
  • 4 lg
    lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 c
    shredded reduced fat monterey jack chees

How To Make waldorf tuna salad

    In a large bowl,combine the first 6 ingredients. Combine yogurt,and mayonnaise; add to the tuna mixture and toss to coat. Serve on lettuce leaves; sprinkle with cheese.
