This is probably one of my most requested recipes. It is absolutely wonderful. It is a must at all family gatherings and potlucks!

Ingredients For taffy apple salad

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 16 oz
    crushed pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 4 tsp
    vinegar
  • 10
    granny smith apples (med), peeled and cored, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 2
    cool whip (8 oz. each)
  • 1 1/2 c
    peanuts, dry roasted salted

How To Make taffy apple salad

  • 1
    Mix first 5 ingredients in saucepan. Cook over low heat until thick and bubbly. Stir constantly.

    Remove from heat. Cool slightly then refrigerate overnight or several hours.

    In large bowl combine chopped apples, peanuts and cooled pineapple mixture. Fold in Cool Whip. Serve.
