Ingredients For swiss apple salad

  • 3
    very red apples (jonathan or gravenstein)
  • 1/2
    lemon, juiced
  • 3-4
    young stalks celery, cut in 1 cm (½ in) slices
  • 100 g
    (3½ oz) walnuts, lightly toasted in a frying pan
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • sea salt

How To Make swiss apple salad

  • 1
    Cut the apples into bite-sized pieces and pour on the lemon juice (this will stop the apples from going brown).
  • 2
    Mix the apples with the celery, walnuts and mayonnaise, and taste for salt.
