Ingredients For pineapple-pear delight

  • 1 can
    8 oz. crushed pineapple
  • 1 can
    16 oz. pear halves
  • 1 box
    6 oz. lime flavored jello
  • 2 c
    boiling water
  • 2 pkg
    3 oz. each cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise

How To Make pineapple-pear delight

  • 1
    Drain pineapple and pears, reserving juice; add enough water to juice to make 2 cups liquid, and set aside.

    Dissolve jello in boiling water; stir in reserved liquird.

    Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise, mixing well. Dice pears. Stir pears and pineapple into cream cheese mixture;
  • 4
    Stir cheese mixture into jello mixture. Pour into a lightly oiled 8 cup mold and chill until firm.
