I got this recipe out of a Taste of Home cook book serveal years ago. My 91 year old father loves it. Changed everything to sugar free.

Ingredients For pear lime gelatin

  • 1 can
    29 oz. pear havles in juice
  • 1 box
    3 oz sugar free lime gelatin
  • 1
    3 oz. cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1 c
    cool whip. i just use the smallest size
  • 1 1/2 c
    water

How To Make pear lime gelatin

  • 1
    Drain pears, (save the jusice is you don't care about the sugar). I rinse the pears to remove as much sugar as possible. Set pears aside.

    You will 1 1/2 cup liquid. I use water or you can use the pear jiuice and add water if needed

    Pour liquid into a sauce pan, bring to a boil. Add gelatin: stir until dissolved. Gradually add cream cheese, whisking until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until cool.

    Mash pears, fold into gelatin mixture. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into a 6 cup serving bowl. Refrigerate until set.
